For customers purchasing kits from AlumawoodProducts.com we offer 2 Permit/Engineering Services. (note: this is only engineering specifications. Owner builder permit or licensed contractors can used this while pulling permits with local city/county building and safety. Local fees will be additional cost.)

$1750. Engineering based on your custom design, address, and local building codes.

Why get a permit?

1.) In most cases it is the law.

2.) If you plan on doing future projects like a pool or solar, a non-permitted patio cover will hinder your ability to get a permit for future projects. Most pool and solar contractors won’t start work on your patio project without a permit for your patio cover.
